What a wonderful trip we had.  What's even more fun is we brought our Rosa Leigh home for Christmas (our daughter who is studying abroad in Costa Rica) and we have been surprising family and friends with her appearance.

I have been wanting to email you for some time now to tell you what an incredible time we had in Costa Rica, but as you could imagine these last three weeks since our return, I have been busy trying to catch up and recover my body from what was a GREAT VACATION!

To say that everything was planned and carried out flawlessly would be an understatement. You and your team are to be complemented for having everything as we expected and actually exceeded our expectations. From the first day to the last everybody involved with our vacation was on time, polite, kind, generous, and most gracious towards us. We always seemed to want to stop and see the sights while on our trip or stop at a grocery store to buy some food and Luis was always willing and helpful towards us in any capacity. He always went out of his way to accomodate us and make us feel if we were his guest and not just paying customers in his country.

Los suenos Resort was beautiful and we were all very happy with our accomodations and how comfortable the condominium was. It felt as if we were home and not at some impersonal hotel. We met up with a cab driver named Raul and he was our personal guide for the 6 days we were there. He showed us the sights and took us everywhere we needed to go with no complaints about us taking too much of his time. He as many of the people that call Costa Rica home were gracious, kind, and very generous with their time.

I could go on and on, but I will leave it this way, you and the wonderful people in Costa Rica have three new permanent guest. We are already planning a follow up trip to your country and expect to be in Costa Rica again early next year. We look forward to you and your team assisting us on this follow up visit as it was one of the best vacations I have taken in a very long time.

Que te podemos decir.... La verdad que fue "PURA VIDA" como dirian alla, todo estuvo perfecto... La gente que nos atendió lo hizo de maravilla, estamos impresionados con la cultura que existe en tu Pais hacia el turista... y mas impresionados con los paisajes tan hermosos que vimos, la flora y la fauna son maravillosos... Los hoteles que nos recomendaron estan soñados, muy lindos.... El clima estuvo excelente en los dos paises, hubo un poco de lluvia en Bocas los ultimos dias, pero igual lo disfrutamos muchisimo...

En realidad, no sabria decirte que lugar me gustó más, porque todo estuvo muy bonito, comimos riquisisimo y definitivamente la pasamos muy bien!!!...

Sorry I took so long to send this e-mail but I misplaced your card and e-mail address.

I just wanted to thank you for everything you set up for us in Costa Rica over Christmas.  We had an absolutely wonderful time.  All your help on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with the van and driver mix up was handled very professionally and quickly on the holiday and remotely from your home.  Exploradores Outdores was a great rafting outfitter and their facility for over night was excellent.  All the drivers were helpful and courteous as was the desk and wait staff at all the hotels.  Too bad it rained so hard on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  I believe we got a great value for the price we paid.  This was very apparent when we spoke with other Americans and Europeans and compared the prices they paid for similar accommodations or tours.  We plan to return to Cost Rica and look for investment / vacation property in 2008.  We will be contacting you and Grace to help us with logistics, tours and transportation when we go.

Laura - Thanks for the great trip, I did not want to come back! The extras were great. Gloria loved the flowers Scott was surprised with the Mariaci band - they played for our  whole dinner - we entertained the whole restaurant. The trips were great - however the road to the volcano was rough.  We did get to see the volcano lava. Hacienda chapperal - we were the only 4 people there.  We had our own parade and rodeo. Canopies - the guides

Wonderful nature, nice & friendly people, but very expensive tours like canopy, Kayac and hikes. We only had one problem and that was when we checked in at Mono Azul, there was only one  double room with one extra bed reserve for 5 people instead of the villa with two rooms we were promised in our package. But this problem could the hotel and Natalia solve for us and we could move in to the villa. Everything else worked ans we loved both to stay in La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio and hope to be back next year.

We wanted to say that we loved our vacation that your company planned for us.  We did not have to worry about a thing while we were there, but just relax and enjoy ourselves.  The tours were fabulous and some of them were just spectacular.  The whitewater rafting on the Pacuare river was so fun and the waterfall rappeling was breathtaking.  We also loved the canopy tour in Monteverde and the kayaking and the Lapaz gardens.. the list goes on and on.  From the beaches to the mountains what a beautiful country Costa Rica is, as well as its people.   The one thing we probably would not do again is the tour in Turrialba.  It was a little bit too remote and not that well organized.  Also, the hotel Marparaiso only served breakfast at 8:00 and most of our tours started before then so we never got breakfast there.  But that was just a minor hiccup when considering all of the other wonderful things we did.  We would recommend your company to anyone going and would use it again ourselves in the future.

Costa Rica is perfect for traveling due to the small distances a lot can be seen in a quite short time, the nature is beautiful, animals, nature etc. Furthermore it can be a lot of adventure if someone likes that, it's a soft Central America experience, we had a great time. I just wanted to thank you for helping us plan our trip to Costa Rica. We had a fantastic time and plan to return again and explore other areas. All of the excursions were great except Tabacon. That place was a zoo! I am so glad we did not stay there. Los Lagos worked out great.

The staff at Los Lagos arranged for us ti go horseback riding with a local family. We rode to La Fortuna waterfall. Afterward the family invited us back to their home to drink fresh coconut milk on their patio. They were so friendly. My children and their son played together.

The Cano Negro tour was great. Gustavo was an excellent guide.Selvatura was so much fun!

Probably the highlight of the trip. We loved the rain forests and cloud forests.

Inn at the Park was so nice. I loved that we could walk everywhere. Again, I am so glad we were  not at one of the hotels down the street. That was such a busy area. We met a local family in Manuel Antonio also and our children played together everyday on the beach. The sunset cruise was great. We went

on a catamaran and got to snorkel.

We loved the country. It was so diverse. We liked the volcanic area,cloud forest, rain forest and the coast. We had great adventures. It was also economical for a family. Again. Thank you for everything. Pura Vida!
