Our Savegre River Tour is a full –day adventure, starting with a 4-wheel-drive journey that winds through the remote backcountry of the Rio Savegre, where we will begin a four-hour guided rafting trip with class II/III/IV rapids. The trip is either done in 6 person rafts or 2 person inflatable kayaks.
On the Naranjo River, a class III and IV rafting experience is ready for rafters looking for excitement. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos through a beautiful, verdant jungle gorge, taking you on wild ride to sea level, passes nearby farmlands and palms plantations. Hydro-speed $65 (4 km) Due to the hydrology of the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica the Naranjo and Savegre Rivers are the best opportunity to boost up your adrenaline enjoying the natural beauty of their river valleys. Our trip starts at your hotel, our a/c minibus will drive your through the true back roads of Costa Rica, where you will enjoy nature at its full extent all the way to the put in of the river. Are you ready? Once you are geared up, we will brief you on safety and maneuvering techniques. Our descents are full of raging white water rapids, which you will hydrospeed, guided by our professional kayaker, who will instruct you and provide safety during your trip. North Pacific Tenorio River Class I&II Located right in the hearth of the province of Guanacaste, the Tenorio river offers some and moderated waves, this is a wide and fast-flowing class I and II river. This experience is great for all ages, safe enough for children and gentle enough for the elderly to enjoy, just as for nature lovers and bird watchers who will enjoy the lush vegetation of the tropical dry forest. Have your camera and binoculars handy, you we’ll have the chance to observe lots of animals: spider, howler and white faced monkeys; crocodiles, coatis, iguanas and otters; you may also sight some of the 300 species of birds that inhabit the nearby Palo Verde National Park: wood stork, king fishers, roseate spoonbill, boat-billed heron, bare-throated tiger heron, white ibis and many, many more, all can be spotted in the threes along the riverbanks of the Tenorio river. Our journey begins in the gardens of the Corobici River, where our headquarters are located, the trip last for about 2 hours on the river and includes: paddles, lifejackets, safety kayak if only one raft traveling, bottled water during the tour. Before we start our travel we will also have ready a little snack with natural beverages and fresh fruit. If you are prepared for a huge adventure, you are surely ready for this. The Tenorio River will test your courage with its rapids class III and IV (irregular and medium waves, complex maneuverings in fast rapids in its class III; intense and powerful but yet predictable in the class IV). The Tenorio River has everything on it, you can find a 10 feet drop (class V), one of its kina. It is important to mention that both this drop and some of the most intense rapids weather can or not be ran. Letting you this way, take only specific challenges. North Zone (Arenal) White Water Rafting class IV, Toro River If white water is your passion and you are seeking a new challenge, jump on the raft with us for an adrenaline packed ride down the Toro River. Continuous rapids, landscaped by lush rainforest walls dripping with waterfalls just gives you a flavor of what will be in store for you. This trip is for experienced paddles with a minimum age of 16 years old. Duration: full day, approximately 7 hours White Water Rafting, Sarapiqui River The Sarapiqui River offers a wide range of options from first time paddlers looking for a class III challenge to families interested in a class I-II level paddle trip. Set in the lowlands of the rainforest one will enjoy breath-taking views of tropical birds and lush jungle landscapes. Sarapiqui allows one to not only enjoy the rapids but also revisit that childhood freedom to play we often-loose sight of in the midst of the daily riors life brings, relaxing in the flat pools between the rapids, swimming and splashing around.
