POLICIES

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE for INDIVIDUAL TRAVELLERS

For the final reservations, when we agree what you exactly want we send you a detailed description of all the services and you send us an e-mail approving it.

Then, to begin with your reservations we will need a deposit as follows:

  • Reservations with more than 3 months before the arrival date 25% deposit
  • Reservations from 2 to 3 months before the arrival date 50% deposit
  • Reservations from 1 month or less before the arrival date 100% deposit

The total payment should be paid 30 days before the arrival.

You can pay by:

  • Credit card Visa or MasterCardAccount.
  • Paypal Payment ( in case you have an American Express Credit Card)
  • Bank Transfer or Deposit to our Banco Nacional de Costa Rica or Bank of America Account

If you prefer to make a deposit or Bank Transfer Please contact us to send you our bank details. As soon as we receive the final payment we will make all the vouchers for the services.

If you arrive in San Jose and stay for at least one night, we will meet you the first or second day (depending of your arrival time) at your Hotel in San Jose and give you the vouchers, travel information and answer any questions you may still have.

If you will not arrive in San Jose or if you will depart to your destination directly from the airport we will send you your travel package (the vouchers, travel information) per certified mail to your home address, that way you will have them in advance.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOW POLICY

Changes within 30 days of departure are charged US$50 per person. If the change results in a cancellation of previously confirmed services, then the following cancellation penalties will apply for those respective services. If cancellation is received in writing by Costa Rica Just 4 U at least 30 to 45 days prior to departure, a full refund will be made, minus a $75 administrative charge per person plus the applicable supplier cancellation fees. For cancellations received within 15 to 30 days of departure a 50% cancellation penalty will be imposed. No refunds will be made 15 days prior to reservation date. There are also no refunds for no shows.

REFUNDS

Any clams for refunds must be made in writing within 30 days of scheduled return. All negotiable vouchers must accompany the claim. No refunds will be made for features included in our itineraries that travelers chose not to take part in. No refunds will be made for missing transfers or sightseeing tours due to changes or delays in airline schedules. Costa Rica Just 4 U will not refund any money for changes in travel arrangements made by the traveler after the departure date. Any service issue affecting the quality of the guest’s hotel stay must be addressed directly with the hotel’s management at the time the issue arises since refunds cannot be given for such inconveniences. 

Responsibility

Costa Rica Just 4 U give notice that they assume no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force major, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies or change in transit or hotel service over which it has not control. Costa Rica Just 4 U is not responsible for loss of life, personal injury, cancellations, delays, over-bookings, loss or damage of baggage and / or loss of service as result of the same caused by any domestic flights within Costa Rica. With advance deposit to Costa Rica Just 4 U, the depositor therefore agrees to be bound by the above recited terms and conditions.

GROUPS RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE

RESERVATIONS PROCEDURE

For the final reservations, when we agree what you exactly want we send you a detailed description of all the services and you send us an e-mail approving it.

After your written approval we will need the details for the reservation such as:

  • Exact dates
  • Name of the group
  • How many rooms should we reserve
  • How many singles and how many double or twin rooms, triples, etc.
  • Name of the tour leader.
  • Flight details (airline, flight number and arrival/ departure time)

PAYMENTS

To confirm your reservations we will need a deposit as follows:

  • 3 months before the arrival date 25% deposit
  • 2 months before the arrival date 25% deposit ( to complete a 50% of the total amount)
  • 45 days before the arrival date Please send the complete Rooming List and the final 50% deposit ( to complete the 100% Prepayment)

The total payment should be received by Costa Rica Just 4 U 45 days before the arrival.

Please note that all charges for bank transfers should be cover by the person making the reservation. Costa Rica Just 4 U will not cover any bank fees resulted from Bank Transfers.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

At you arrival your guide will meet you at the Airport, give you the customer package with travel information, vouchers, etc and answer any questions you may have.

If your group comes with a Tour Leader we will have a package for him/her with all the vouchers, contacts and contact information for the hotels and other services, etc.

No refunds will be made 30 days prior to reservation date. There are also no refunds for no shows.
