Day 1 ARRIVAL
Arrival at the InternationalAirport Juan Santamaria. Meet & greet by your driver. Private transfer to your hotel in San José. After arrival to the Hotel, you can take the rest of the day to relax.
At Leisure day to explore San José or do optional activities such as: Visit to Museums, Volcanoes, Gardens, Rafting, Canopy, etc.

Day 3SAN JOSE – BOCAS DEL TORO IN PANAMA
We will have an early breakfast at the hotel, because at 6:00 a private transfer to Sixaola border is waiting for us. Arrival about . Crossing the border takes about 30 minutes. Passengers will take a private transfer at (Panamanian time) to Almirante harbor accompanied by our escort. Arrival around 1 hour later. They will board a water taxi at Almirante to get to Bocas del Toro. Arrival to Bocas del Toro in 15-20 minutes. Check in Bahía Hotel. Free afternoon!
The islands of Bocas del Toro are the essence and the mirror of Caribbean Panama. They are located in the extreme western part of the country, only 40 kilometers from the Republic of Costa Rica. This archipelago has the perfect combination of nature and historical and cultural traditions, with a charming variety of aquatic species, coral reefs, mangroves, tropical forest, beaches with crystal clear water, undisturbed jungles with all the flora and fauna you can imagine.

Day 5BOCAS DEL TORO – SAN JOSE - ARENAL
Transfer back to San José, on the way you car will be delivered for you to drive to Arenal Volcano area. The summit of the Arenal Volcano, rising 1,633 meters above sea level and continuously active since 1968, towers far above the northern plains overlooking a wind-swept lake and pristine cloud forests reserves. An incredibly diverse population of wildlife awaits you in this part of Costa Rica.
Driving along winding roads, you climb higher into the surrounding mountains, where temperatures drop to a refreshing 70-75 degrees F. Off in the distance one can see the dark green and blue silhouettes of the Guanacaste and Tilaran mountain ranges.
The ideal way to visit this region is by car. The landscapes as you drive along twisting roads make for incredible photographs. Of the 850 bird species identified in Costa Rica, 600 are permanent residents in their region. Don't forget the binoculars!!
The weather in this particular region tends to characterize itself with warm daytime temperatures (low to mid 80's) and relatively high humidity. There are intermittent rain showers that usually pass quickly. From late February to early May, the rain lessens in frequency which allows for fantastic skyscapes during sunrise and sunset.
Drive to Granada, the oldest colonial city in Central America, founded by the Spanish conqueror "Don Francisco Hernández de Córdoba" in 1524. Chock-full of architectural and historical splendor, provides a window into the past which one can experience just by strolling through the peaceful parks or along the narrow cobblestone streets.
